[6.002x] Please complete the 'Overview' section of MITx

Hello all,

Before our Skype meeting later this week, please complete all parts of the first `Overview' section of the course. The MITx interface is nice, but it will take a little time for you to get oriented. In particular,
  • Please view the lecture video `System Usage Sequence' that explains how to use the 6.002x interface
  • In the video, they will show how to submit answers to their quizzes
  • They will also explain how to use a `circuit simulator'
None of this work is graded (instead, they are just for practice). However, it is important to understand how to use the website. Feel free to ask me any questions, or ask questions on the MITx discussion page. We will go over the 6.002x website usage again in our first Skype session.

* * *

As noted by MITx staff, don't be alarmed if you don't understand how the circuit (in the simulator) works. If you can, try to think about basic equations from your physics background (i.e. Ohm's law V=I*R) for basic analysis. If not, we will be learning the techniques in the upcoming lectures.

See you soon,
-Tony
